Louis Delmas - DB - Free Agent

The Steelers are hosting FS Louis Delmas for a free agent visit on Monday.
Pittsburgh is annually one of the NFL's most salary cap-strapped teams, and may only be able to afford Delmas if he took a contract worth near the league's veteran minimum. We wouldn't expect the Steelers to sign Delmas during this visit. Delmas turns 27 in April. He was a 16-game starter in Detroit last season, but was released last Thursday as a salary cap casualty.

A team official tells ESPN Dallas the Cowboys are unlikely to use the franchise tag on free agent DT Jason Hatcher.
Hatcher is coming off a career year, while the Cowboys are extremely thin along their defensive line. As usual, however, owner/GM Jerry Jones is dealing with major salary-cap issues. With Hatcher going on 32, the tag would arguably make more sense than a multi-year deal, but the Cowboys would have to do some major reshuffling to afford the roughly $9 million cap hit


  

Vince Wilfork - DL - Patriots

ESPN Boston believes Patriots NT Vince Wilfork could be a candidate for a Terrell Suggs-type extension.
Suggs, 31, signed a five-year, $28.5 million deal on Monday, slashing his 2014 cap number. "Only" $16 million of the deal is guaranteed. Going on 33, Wilfork is coming off major injury and headed into the final year of his contract. He's currently set to count a steep $11.6 million against the cap. An extension would lower that number while likely locking up a Bill Belichick favorite at a team-friendly rate.

Gabe Carimi - G - Falcons

Falcons signed OL Gabe Carimi.
Carimi was waived last week by the Bucs. The first-round bust played just 218 snaps last season, and only 90 after Week 2. Drafted as a tackle, Carimi played exclusively guard in Tampa. The Falcons have one of the league's more unsettled offensive lines, but Carimi isn't terribly likely to crack the 53-man roster. He's never performed at the NFL level. We suppose it's worth noting Carimi will be reuniting with his former line coach, Mike Tice.

The answer to that question likely will loom large. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports, per a source informed of the negotiations, that the New Orleans Saints and Graham have made no progress toward a long-term contract.

Graham is an impending free agent. If he's slapped with the franchise tag as expected, he likely will file an immediate grievance, Rapoport reported. Graham's gripe? He wants to be tagged as a wide receiver, not a tight end, which is his official position.

There's a stark difference in money on the line. Per NFL Media's Albert Breer, the projected 2014 franchise-tag amount for tight end is $6.8 million, compared to $11.6 million for wide receivers.

Graham could have a case. He often is deployed out wide, or in the slot as a wide receiver, and he has the numbers to match. He piled up 86 catches for 1,215 and 16 receiving touchdowns in 2013.

Dzimi tvrdi pazar. Placenici ce biti dosta slabiji ove sezone. Odbrana koja je protekle jako dobro delovala opet ce biti medju losijim.

Pa ako ima promil šanse da mu prođe ta priča, zašto da ne proba. To je ipak pet miliona šuški razlike. Nije baš sendvič i karta za autobus red veličine.
