Amari Rodgers Is A Product Of Flawed Packers Draft Strategy
The Amari Rodgers experiment has run its course. He simply isn’t good enough to justify a roster spot, be it on offense or special teams.
If the Packers hadn’t traded up and another team had taken Rodgers, Green Bay would have had the opportunity to draft Amon-Ra St. Brown with their original selection. The Detroit Lions took him with the 112th pick, in the fourth round.
It’s not a lone mistake with the same strategy. Since Gutekunst became the general manager in 2018, he has used four fourth-round picks to move up in the draft.

Brian Gutekunst’s Lack Of Vision Is Killing The Green Bay Packers
Another trade deadline came and went with Gutekunst and the Packers sitting by idly, watching others in the league either load up for the stretch run or trade away players for future draft capital.
Gutekunst, who hasn’t talked with the media since Aug. 31, kept that string alive on Wednesday by ducking reporters again. Instead, others were forced to answer questions for Green Bay’s G.M.
