DT Star Lotulelei has opted out of the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Bills restructured Stefon Diggs' contract.

Buffalo will give Diggs $3.3 million more in 2020 while reducing some of his salary in the later years of his contract. It's an insignificant move for Diggs' short- and long-term outlook with Bills. Diggs needs to get better deep-ball accuracy out of Josh Allen to reach his ceiling. They've been working together this offseason -- that, of course, includes playing video games together -- and expect to have chemistry in 2020 despite limited in-person practices. Diggs will likely be a fantasy WR3 who has a handful of boom and bust weeks.

Bills signed coach Sean McDermott to a four-year extension through 2025.

This new six-year deal was well deserved. McDermott is truly one of the game's better coaches and has turned the Bills into a legit contender. He's guided Buffalo to the playoffs two of his three seasons at the helm, and the Bills are viewed as the favorites in the AFC East this season. 46-year-old McDermott has a 25-23 record across three seasons. Next up will be getting a playoff win after going 0-2 to this point.

Bills signed LT Dion Dawkins to a four-year, $60 million extension through 2024.

The No. 63 overall pick of the 2017 draft, Dawkins will make under $1 million in the final year of his rookie contract, but he's now set for life as he heads into season three of manning Josh Allen's blindside. It's a tough job with a quarterback who freelances, but 26-year-old Dawkins has settled in as a legitimate left tackle, albeit one whose best campaign was his rookie season. Dawkins' durability is a plus, as he's never missed a game. This was an easy decision to make for the Bills.
